7. Data Retention

7.1 vippph retains your personal data for as long as your account remains active and for a period thereafter as required by applicable law and regulatory obligations. Specific retention periods include:

  • Account & KYC Records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years following account closure, in accordance with PAGCOR and AMLA requirements;
  • Transaction Records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of each transaction;
  • Customer Support Communications: Retained for three (3) years from the date of the last interaction;
  • Marketing Consent Records: Retained for the duration of your account and for three ( 3) years after consent is withdrawn.

7.2 Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, vippph will securely delete or anonymize your personal data in a manner that prevents reconstruction or identification.

8. Data Security

8.1 vippph implements a comprehensive set of technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit between your device and vippph servers;
  • AES-256 encryption for sensitive data stored at rest, including financial information and identity documents;
  • Role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a strict need-to-know basis;

8.2 In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, vippph will notify the National Privacy Commission (NPC) within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the breach, and will notify affected players without undue delay, in accordance with RA 10173.

8.3 While vippph takes all reasonable steps to protect your personal data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your vippph account credentials.

9. Your Rights as a Data Subject

9.1 Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and NPC regulations, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data held by vippph:

10. Children's Privacy

10.1 The vippph Platform is strictly intended for individuals who are 21 years of age or older, in accordance with Philippine gambling laws and PAGCOR regulations. vippph does not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the age of 21.

10.2 If vippph becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a person under 21 years of age, we will immediately close the associated account, void any associated transactions, and securely delete the personal data in question.

11. Cross-Border Data Transfers
